Yamakasi DS270 AH-IPS Monitor 2560x1440 - Page 44

Got this monitor today, ive had 3 of these korean monitors over the last 2 years and a dgm 27 inch, this is by far the best, what a nice clear screen.

I tried two colour profiles on this thread named monitor 1 and monitor 2, they were way too dark, using one called dual dvi at the moment someone did, thats better biggrin.gif

Monitor 1 and 2 is mine calibrated with i1displaypro. It's not dark on my monitor and you want 120cd/m this profile is at 138 so like I mentioned my I'm profile will not be as accurate for someone else's monitor. And again you can't measure ambient t light)smile.gif
9i came from calibrated NEC s 2690 so I know what I am seeing is accurate

But for showing input lag effect you should play to massive multiplayer FPS, are u play competitive FPS online ? redface.gif

In massive multiplayer FPS the most important factor is internet.
If this isn't optimal and always fast, input lag of monitor become secondary.

For me the best is testing with similar-multiplayer fps, such as borderlands2, single player and coop lan, with no internet lag problems. For me this monitor is very good.

Put it on an arm now biggrin.gif Was a lot easier to take apart than any other korean monitor.

No prizing the plastic and scratching it, it just came apart on its own with the screws removed.

Not too bad, its not that glossy

Ok, but reflection differences compared to other glossy LCD panel si evident or little ?

Yamakasi description page tell about -75% of glares by plasma coating, then much less glare than classic solutions.
In your pictures i really see any reflections, almost like matte.
