Also that kind of 180* turn is fine with 2 90* elbows.

Well it's gonna be hard for me to find a homedepot with anything I need lol, I don't live in USA but in Finland and there's not so much around where I live. All the watercooling components I'll buy will come from abroad. I think I'll buy 2 plastic elbows + zip ties and even some anti-kink spring and I'll see what works best, maybe just the tubing alone will bend nicely enough.

Thanks anyway and happy new year ! thumb.gif

I'm still wondering what to get, at least I'll get a new tower and it will be a NZXT Switch 810, more spacious and watercool friendly than what I have now.

But I have one question:
Is it better to have some Yate Loon 1350rpm fans in push/pull or is it better to have some Gentle Typhoon 1800rpm in push only ?
I'm looking for performance here not noise.

Thanks !

actually they are about the same. with push and pull yates, they do have the pressure.
i had better temps with 1350rpm push/pull yates than i do with pull gt ap-15s at full 1850rpm. im about to get 3 more ap-15s so i can go push pull with them and turn the speed down.

Thanks !

he wants push/pull on yates or push on a single ap-15. i said in push/pull they have the pressure.
static pressure:
ap-15 is .08 at 0 airflow and at full actual airflow it is about .047
d12sl-12 is .05 at full airflow
these are both from martin. http://martinsliquidlab.i4memory.com/FanTesting.html and http://martinsliquidlab.org/2013/02/18/why-static-pressure-max-flow-specs-are-poor-measures-of-fan-performance/

the ap-15 will flow more air. the yate low speed will be a touch quieter. if you use a d12sm-12 push/pull you should get a bit better airflow at about the same sound.
the yates are a great bargain if you run them vertically. running them horizontally will wear them out at about twice the rate because they use sleeve bearings.

Ok thanks for the answers.

I of course meant better performance, better temps. Since my rads would be horizontal I guess I should go with AP15, but in push only because they are pricey !
