Please look over my Office Computer Build

I'm building a computer for my dads business. He doesn't really have a budget, but I'm trying to keep it under $500 because I still need to buy a new monitor, keyboard, and mouse. He wants a computer to do quickbooks and watch videos. Please review what I have so far.

Your APU link goes to the 5400 , which is probably a better choice as it´s 65w less heat.
You could look at the 5500 /6500 as well if you want a quad 65w, either will be plenty. You could get away with 4 gig ram as well if you want to shave a few bucks.

Solid set up! thumb.gif
for office work, watching videos and the lot it will be more than enough... you can as stated above drop down to 4 gb memory.

Also from what i remember reading the AMD APU's love fast memory, so see if you can find some cheap 4gb 1866 or 1066 sticks around

maybe something like this:

Yeah, that'd be good.
Only change I'd make is to bring the RAM down to 4Gb, and upgrade the HDD to this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2W00ZD1577
Its prob also not needed, but like 'em cos there there more reliable.

I would recommend the Rosewill network adapter (been using one for almost 2 years) and you may want extra memory since the APU shares system memory (most say 1600 minimum and recommend 2133mhz)
