the original fsb was 200, i overclocked it to 255 which you see there. know heres the problem. i went on the webb to see what more i can d to over clock it and just get more info about it. but there seems to not exist on the net so here i am asking you guys is there anything else i can do to oc it? and how do i find out my procs total ghz?
Unknown processor? That exact processor exists in my laptop. And it's a mobile processor, which means you'll find it in laptops most often (how many laptop BIOSes allow overclocking?)

Edit: I just remembered something. My computer reports the cpu freq at 800mhz, but it's really twice that. @1.6ghz. So perhaps your computer is reporting incorrectly?

Look around there.

Compaq knows about this reporting issue. Apparently they fixed it, it never did fix. Computer runs at 1.6ghz though (I'd be able to tell if it was running at 800mhz). Odd computer though. One time reported itself being 10ghz.

Read the link in my sig for why the multi is lower than it's supposed to be.

Yes, it is S754.

It was mostly used as a OEM chip for HP and Compaq. *Depending on the chip*, its either a 32-bit A64 2800+, or a Sempron with more cache disabled.

Nothing special.

*edit*
Wording.
2 OP pls nerf

I've seen the processor a few months ago on newegg.

No clue. As I said, compaq apparently fixed it. You can try the drivers here, but most of them probably won't work.
You could try downloading the "AMD Athlon Processor Driver" on that page, and then get the "AMD Processor Update for Microsoft Windows XP" and update.
This is from the driver update info:
Quote:
This package contains an AMD Processor update for some notebook models running the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System. The AMD Processor Update for Microsoft Windows XP enables the system to dynamically and automatically select the processor speed, voltage, and power combination to instantaneously match the user performance need.
Download and use at your own risk.

Wait, since when are Athlon XPs Socket 754? I realize it's a mobile, but I still though 754 came later.
