Phobya NB-eLoop 1600rpm for radiators.... - Page 3

I just replaced 5 Corsair SP120 QE's with the Phobya eLoops. Huge improvement in noise, all but one of my collection of SP120s (I have twelve of them, two PE's from my old H100i, and 10 QE's when I was thinking I was going to go push/pull) made a craptacular buzzing/grinding noise at all RPMs, either on mobo headers or direct power from PSU, so bad that I generally just ran one fan on my top 240 and left my 360 turned off unless I was gaming or benching.

Now I can run all 5 fans on push at 800 RPM at idle and not even notice the noise. Even at 1600 RPM they're cleaner sounding than the SP120 QE's at max 1400 RPM.

Plus it's cool that they look great in my build, matching my dark red coolant and my red anodized bits better than the blood red rings of the Corsair fans. Now I want darker red sleeving for my cables. smile.gif

EDIT:Pictures (also, the 1st and 3rd pictures are colour accurate, camera flash makes the rubber bits look more orange/yellow in the other pictures)

I'm sorry to start up an old thread but did any of you find out about the whole Phobya eloop fans having corrected the issues that the original NB fans had?
