A way to easilly fill/drain it. I forgot it on my first loop. But just added it when i swap my gpu.

My reservoir had this in it so i just added a fitting with a tube and a port like this.

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14601/ex-tub-1040/Enzotech_G14_Barb_Stop_Fitting_w_Cap_-_12_ID_-_Matte_Black_BNPH-ID12-G14.html?tl=g30c101s460

Edit:
I heard some here use y fittings, but not 100% sure what they do,

Other use valves and more complex systems

A drain port will make your life much easier when you are maintaining your loop. You should either have a port leading out of the loop to drain it when you are refilling, or some other method to easily drain the loop.

Edit: looks like @MasterKamiTzu already answered your question.

Oh ok I get it. Im gonna put a fitting on the lower port on the side of my reservoir with a drain tube then. Also would that tubing I chose (1/2 by 3/4) fit around the barbs on that reservoir? ( It comes with 1/2 and 3/8 barbs)

Ohh. Best place for your drain port, bottom of your loop.

Another way is to have a quick disconnect, never done it.

I understand a valve helps you redirect your loops flow traffic to your drain port by forcing it the other direction smile.gif

As previously mentioned barbs need to match to the ID of the tubing. So yes. But when you're using the same size tubing with barbs, make sure to use clamps.
Or just switch to compressions, it's cheaper than you think once you consider the cost of barbs+clamps to achieve the same level of security of comps.

You should compare it to its inner diameter so. 1/2 by 3/4 should use 1/2 barbs.

If you get compression down the road then. They must match your tubbing

Edit : warp got it lol.

Btw that danger den kit brings clamps he mentions smile.gif

You can find cheap compressions here in the ocn market

So my parts should be here next week, I switched some of the parts with different brands and I was hoping that one of you could let me know if all the metals were ok to be in the loop.

Ek 1/2 x 3/4 black nickel compression fittings

Bits power 5970 waterblock with acetel top, black nickel and the block base is c1100

Those metals should be okay, just don't use a silver killcoil with them (nickel).

Oh, and let me know how the EK fittings are, I have been looking at them and they seem like a good value. Thanks.
