the D805 is only good if you plan on going conroe but cant afford it.

Chyea, the AMD would pwn it. I saw some graphs from tests run on the newer FPS games like CS:S, Half Life 2, Battlefield 2, and F.E.A.R. A single core 3200+ which is 2.0 ghz i think beat out a 3.2 ghz p4 in every game but one. It still ran away with it cause on the ones it won, victory was by 10+ fps.
