i've seen a few complaints of coil whine in reviews but it should otherwise be a great PSU, no?

hey apolladan

just so you know I can pretty much 99.9% say the XTR is a seasonic G, its just updated as fully modular & has hybrid fan mode, plus a FDB fan

look

seasonic G

XFX XTR

http://www.plugloadsolutions.com/psu_reports/XFX%20TECHNOLOGY_XTR%20650_ECOS%203231.2_650W_Report.pdf

they have exactly the same scores wink.gif

if you want a good idea of what a review will say

If your not really in a rush to grab a psu? id wait for a review like you said?

Other than the chance of the unit you end up with having coil whine, it's quite a high-end PSU.
