PROB, is your OC stable ? If so, looks like the E6 stepping needs less voltage to clock higher.. i absolutely need 1.55 to be stable @ 2640... hmm

Well I've been testing the Dual channel for a few weeks...can't just come out with some unstable BS...took some rounds to get the timings right cause actually the 2 sticks are different modules of the same brand...one is 2.5-4-4-7 and the other 3-3-3-8...
I knew the CPU was stable as I primed for 2.5hrs the 1st time(with everything on:firewall, antivirus, explorer, downloading drivers,AIM,Yahoo messenger.. with 1 stick of 512MB)...then I think I let it run at about 6 hours(minimal processes) and said that was good enough for me...I fold at 100% all the time while doing stuff and it only locks up cause this RAM won't go over 210MHZ(either one) under normal conditions...had it up to 225MHZ on a strange config that I might go back to...lower CPU speed but it just felt quicker...can't run my beloved 400FSB cause the 2.5-4-4-7 stick can't handle it .

What if you set the ram on a ridicoulusly low divider just to take the RAM out of the equation, is your CPU prime95 or OCCT stable ?

22ºC ? Let me guess..speedfan!

3.0ghz with a Venice is a bit harder It doesn't seem to like anything above 2.7 ... windows and games are stable but not stress testing and that's a part of the goal!
