[Build Log] Polar Vortex - WC HTPC in Bitfenix Prodigy

I recently had surgery on my ankle and have been stuck in bed watching movies pretty much all day every day. Netflix seems to be getting considerably worse by the day and not being able to really walk or maneuver made getting up, finding, and changing out DVDs a bit of a chore. So, why not build an HTPC where I can easily select what I want, I thought. And thus, a build log begins!

With the polar vortex and all, I think there was some hiccup in shipping times. Hopefully everything will arrive between today and tomorrow and I can get this show on the road biggrin.gif

Skokie is less than 20min from here...additionally, the package I got yesterday went thru Northbrook, IL, which is the suburb just north of Skokie. They basically have to take the same roads to get here but has further to go. The fact that it has sit there for 3 full days is frustrating. If I could drive right now I would go get it, but I cannot even walk from my surgery atm....mad.gif

If I were you I'd give Fedex a call. I find that they are much more accommodating in situations like yours than UPS/USPS. UPS will flat out tell you it'll get there when it gets there and that nothing can be done prior to a 1st attempt. I've had Fedex do same day redeliveries and have even had them make their first attempt on the expected date after a stated delay. Of course YMMV though.

I called today and they said it was waiting to go on the tick. Guess it didn't make it tho. Definitely will call back tomorrow

I just noticed you're the owner of the Crowbar build. That + Prodigy makes this a double sub for me!
