Need help fixing my Tt eSports MEKA keyboard

So my brother spilled juice on the keyboard and never really cleaned it up. Now the space bar is really sticking hard and is extremely slow to go back to rest.

What the problem is I cant get to the Cherry plate-mounted stabilizers underneath the plate so I can clean them off. It seems the pcb is still attached somehow. I can only think that it is held by the Cherry MX switches that are soldered to the back of the pcb and by the upper switch on the other side of the plate.

How can I fix this?

Example pictures (not my own):

kinda what the situation looks like

What i need access to

what Im guessing the underside of the metal plate looks like

Thanks in advance

no one has any idea how to clean underneath the plate of a plate-mounted mechanical keyboard?
