Water cooling system, advice/help needed

I was just wondering if my pump will be strong enough to push all the water through my system.

Im getting a Swifttech MCP655 pump.

My loop is going to have a CPU block, GPU block, 1 120mm Rad and 1 240mm Rad, along with a 150 resiviour.

Is that enough to push the water through all that without any problems? I know the amount/hour being pushed needs to be high along with the pressure its being pushed.

Thanks!

Bit short on details so can't say as I don't know the blocks to comment on restrictions and don't know the components so can't comment on whether ya have enuff cooling but a 655 shud be enuff and then some.

Im getting a koolance 380i block for the CPU anfd for the GPU a HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ GTX 760. The radiators are both Alphacool Nexxos st30's.

A D5 will be plenty for pretty much any single CPU + single GPU system and 2 radiators. It is enough for your system as well.

Might wanna check this out:

380i for LGA 2011. EK Supremacy for IB/HW

GPU cooling performance varies about 2C between vendors, but VRM and VRAM differences are HUGE.

You will get 60 watts of cooling outta 1 x 120 rad at 1250 rpm, so 180 watts out of 120 + 240 w/ one fan
You will get 66 watts of cooling outta 1 x 120 rad at 1400 rpm, so 196 watts out of 120 + 240 w/ one fan
You will get 81 watts of cooling outta 1 x 120 rad at 1800 rpm, so 243 watts out of 120 + 240 w/ one fan

Overclocked Haswell is good for 140 watts ..... and 198 for an overclocked 760 or 338 watts at max load.

Your rads will therefore provide 53% of max load at 1250 rpm, 58% at 1400 rpm and 72% at 1800 rpm.

I think of 60% of max load to be handled by rads as a minimum for a gaming / everyday use box considering CPU & GPU rarely at max at same time and other components all radiating heat ....so 1500 rpm fans should provide a good balance between cooling an noise

Wow awesome! thank you for the radiator/fan information! I have actually changed my deisgn a little bit instead of the 120mm im going for a 360mm rad.

So it'd be a 360mm rad and 240mm rad, my main reason for this is so i dont have to upgrade in the future when i add a 2nd or possibly 3rd gpu to the loop.

I was looking and pretty set on these fans: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12692/fan-826/Noiseblocker_NB-BlackSilentPro_PLPS_120mm_x_25mm_Ultra_Quiet_PWM_Fan_-_600-1500_RPM_-_8-24_dBA.html?id=RWk9b84J&mv_pc=664

Will the 1500RPm be enough?

You get 60 watts per fan space at 1250 rm

5 x 60 = 300 watts of cooling

540 watts with two 760s and HW

So...today with 240 + 360 you get 300/338 or 88% .... way more than enuff today..... 55% when ya get 2nd 760.

Do push pull MAYBE when ya get 2nd 760.

I planned on going push pull to get to 63% but right now I'm at 53% with just push and my CPU is75C at 4.6Ghz under RoG bench and OC'd 780 GPUs are 39C under Furmark at 1200 rpm

So i will have more than enough for now. Awesome thanks for the help! I was getting lost there for awhile by myself.

Once i get my 2nd gpu ill test it in just pull and see if that meets the standards if not ill make sure to grab a few more fans for push pull.

Ill only be able to do push/pull on the top 360mm Rad though, i don't believe my case will allow room for my front 240mm rad for another 2 fans.
