Unless I'm heavily invested with time (ie I drove a significant distance just to go to that store), I will absolutely decide not to shop somewhere if it's packed.

Yeah same here...if I see a parking lot is quite full for a store or restaurant I won't even get out of the the car. I don't have that kind of time...and I will typically have kids with me that will be patient for no more than ten minutes if I am lucky. I was actually thinking of subbing to Star Wars:TOR last night but chose not to for a while...DERP might not be done yet and I don't want to be paying to just look at a login launcher not working all weekend. So they won...if any one knows any DERPTrolling members or people that claim to be members can you please go slap them a couple times for me?

But yeah...they were really DoSing it hard yesterday. I hadn't heard about Battle.net, but I know Steam and EA were barely functional for about two hours or so last night. I don't know if I've seen an attack as wide spread as this before. It was basically a fire sale on online gaming. I wonder if the DDoS affected anything else? If they actually impaired any public emergency services by overloading a node they could actually face jail time if they tracked them down...though I am sure that is going to be near impossible. I doubt they were that dumb about it.

Blizzards layer 7 mit is amazing, I had a slight hiccup on my realm, Friends list went down, Came back up, And all was good again, I thought it was just a minor glitch at best

Derp is not even a group, he's just a kid calling himself hacker by using a tool to flood servers.
