better count the pins again too...are you one off? *Also, connecting the pins in the 'lower' row, does not help you acheive 1.55v, only 4 connections are needed. *Also, i used a toothpick to apply the 'ink', it works well, allows you to put on a small amount...tape helps too. Remember to stay away from the exposed side of the pCB, as there are open conductors! One bad touch to the side of your card, while its running and you could toast something.
Another thing you can do, is solder the points on the card to a set of dip-switches, this will allow you to adjust the voltage 'on-the-fly', setting 1.35, 1.4, 1.5 or 1.55v as you wish! After all, some cards do not need 1.55v to hit 700mhz.
