Use some AS5, yeah. But, less than you put on your CPU, as the core is a lot smaller.

a half of a 'bb'....choo know?

Might wanna mount some fans close by to ventilate the card as well. Or you could 'lap' the base of your gpu cooler...might help some. Keep in mind As5 needs just over 200 hours to 'cure' properly...so expect your temps to come down 2-3c over a period of time.

*Also, when you run tests to check temps...turn up all of you Q settings to max, you are trying to generate a 'worst-case-scenerio'. If your temps are safe within that..you will have no worries.

Have you done the pencil mod for the mem voltage? If so , do not exceed 2.28-2.29 volts on the mem...you will smoke the IC controller. You can give the mem a little boost up to 2.25 range safely....but with good ventilation to the top of your card. The small IC close to the mem mod area, will get extremely hot, it is recommended to make a custom heat sink for it. If you want a good pic, there are some posts of mine in the Nvidia section.

Although it's for a CPU, the size of the die should be a very close match, so no reason why you cant use it.
