that's cool man I will get a finished product image up soon.

I wouldn't even know how to make a 3d mock up of the design it took me hours to learn the software to do a dxg drawing and then hours on top to do the drawings.

im sorry for all the delays guys

yesterday I took possession of three ek and xspc back plates for the titan/780 series the 290/x and the 7970/280 series.
I got a good deal for them online and I have been using these to get the measurements from along with my already acquired 7950 plate.

the back plates are going to be 2mm thick aluminium with 4 screw mounting points and holes to pass through screws if using gpu cool.

while sitting and pondering on how to add a fan mount accessory I made a little discovery. both the 7950 and the 7970 share some of the same mounting points so there will be three back plates for the below cards

7950, 7970, 280 and 280x
290 and 290x
gtx 770, 780, 780ti and titan

the 7970 is slightly longer than the 7950 so the back plate will overhang on the 7950 by 5mm ish
the fan mount will be a t shape like on gpu cool but have a bend at the end this will mount on the rear of the back plate.

Psu stealth is slightly behind. I have ordered the acrylic I need and that is being sent to a company to cut at the moment there is white and black options available
I am however awaiting on someone else to email me back regarding the joints as these are being done separately.
the one place wanted 3X as much to do them than the other

Oh I just want to bang my head on a wall.

Emails to and from cutters.
Asked for quote desc requirements
Received
I was asked to send drawing
I asked for ease to send items to be copied
Address was forwarded to me
I sent them
Missed call for explanation
I said its literally copy the shape and put few holes.
I sent email after week no update
Receive the invoice and note saying they are drawing them but need more clarification
Looked at invoice thougt na thats wrong
Called and sent email.

In all they have doubled the total cost due to drawing. Not in any emails did they say of an extra fee nor mentioned it on phone prior.

Ive got the funds for the original quote but now got wait another month

So arrgghhh

You should say that you did not see a quote for drawings nor did you approve any. They took the risk to draw something without your approval.

How do you keep the gf amused
Give her a screw and let it poke some holes.

Pardon the pun but thats what shes doin.
Ive taken delivery of 4000 custom ordered spacers and some have the centers in.
A poor man had to sit an put the run though the machine he said took 9 hours.

Alot cheaper than pre made ones from hong kong and there black
