Ie. ubuntu on macbook airs if the information I've seen before is right.

Have any links to good yoga deals? Having a hard time personally finding any.

If you don't mind upgrading yourself, I would get this lenovo yoga.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Yoga-13-13-3-Laptop-Computer-i5-3317U-128GB-SSD-4GB-RAM-No-OS-/190957652244?pt=Laptops_Nov05&hash=item2c75f68914

It's new and no OS. You can buy 8gb stick of ram and there is a second msata slot, so when you need it, you can buy a 256gb msata card and put it in the yoga.

If not, you can get the i7 version here.

I bought it refurbished and received 1year manufacturers warranty and mine did not come with any cosmetic damage, it's up to you really.

The lenovo outlet has refurb yogas, however I can't find any codes to bring down the price to compare with ebay's prices.

Also, correction.. The Yoga 2 comes with a 4k display drool.gif, but it comes at 1200 new for the high end specs, 900 for i3/i5 4gb ram iirc.

Turns out Ubuntu MOSTLY works with some effort on the Yoga, but the wifi doesn't work with any driver, and the screen cannot rotate without messing up the touch sensing. Currently I'm debating getting a Clevo from either sager or system76...

That was on page three of the post, if you read near the end of the post, people have had no issues with wi-fi. Some people had incompatible routers, but that's it. Also I found this post as well for drivers for the wireless card on the yoga. http://askubuntu.com/questions/318608/lenovo-yoga-13-realtek-wireless-driver

Try an acer 5750Z, screen is 15.6, not sure resolution, uses windows 7 home premium, 2.1 intel B960 pentium, (my experiences are mostly with windows, i don't do much with linux, so im not very sure (I used mint at one point)) runs smoothly, 3 usb, hdmi, vga, disc drive, ethernet(use to go to acer's site to get wifi driver if needed (I looked and the adapter on mine doesn't say the vendor)) 4gb of RAM, the fan should work in ubuntu, I saw some controversy over it not working one time, 500gb hdd about $400-$750 about 3 hr battery (6 celled Li-ion) worked good when i used it, I will warn you, using an acer is a risk, some laptops have issues that acer ignores.
