I've been searching newegg and i find that many coolers have better CFM yet are lower priced. What is the BEST PCI cooler from newegg in your opinions? I am hoping to keep it under 20$. Ty

For your Video Card or to generally cool down your system?

Either one, i have no problem with the temps on either. I just want the best for overall performance since i am starting to overclock the rig a bit more.

Try this. Click.
But I also reccomend some kind of an exhaust fan, because you maybe adding more cooler air, but after time, you'll get warm air stuck inside the case. So an exhaust fan will help. That's just my 2 Cents.

Thanx, I already have a 120mm in front taking in, and a 120mm at the back taking out. I was planning to add another 120mm at the back and then stick an 80mm on the side. Hows that sound?

Try this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835106083

It's 18.99 and takes up two slots. Would you reccomend two of the ones you posted which would still be less money...or just get the one?

It also depends on the RPM I believe. So far, with those add ons that is a pretty air cooled PC.

well i think those exhaust things under the card would be sucking air out from under it so it would be sucking air out while the card is trying to suck air into it the opposite direction... maybe on the bottom or something, but it should be something that blows ON to the card.

i have this one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835888112

it has speed switch on the back... and coupled with my VF700.. im running at 34C core temp on my 7900... pretty good if you ask me. with both on lowest speeds

EDIT: i dont like those blower style coolers they work against your GPU HS...

Well for your information, my dual slot Antec Super Cyclone blower takes 10°C of my GFX card temp under load, by sucking air from my 8800GTS and exhausting it out the back. It's just mad!

That 3DEdge fan looks neat. I'm trying to stick with NewEgg though. The blower under the 8800 from the link looks like it helped, from what i saw on the temperature tests. I think i might stick with the blower under the 7600GT. I also have http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...3877&CatId=804 or something to the effect of that at the very bottom of my case to take air from the hard drives. I still have a few more PCI slots left, i just want to put a blower under my graphics card and then have ^that^ exhaust fan at the very bottom.

With an 80mm at the front of the case and a 120mm at the back, that should give me plenty of air flow for moderate overclocking right?

Thanx for all the replies
