It doesn't look like it will work on MSI's gaming card. The PCB is different, so it isn't just a matter of some of the capacitors being larger. This gaming GPU is not compatible with our new water block.

Unless EK has a specific WB for the 290 Gaming, universal blocks will be your only option.

The way the pump is mounted to the res it looks as if it's possible to just unscrew it and sandwich some sponge between them both, in fact i don't see why it wasn't made like that in the first place. I think it could've been made in a way to completely dampen the pump, maybe what i said would do it or almost do it.

Actually, i'm not sure if that would make it leak.. but i guess a soft rubber around it would work.

does the h220x come with the new pump? also when will the new pump mcp50x be available as standalone?

I need a good pump for 4770 + 2x r9 290 1180oc core. I might be interested in the KOMODO r9 290 as well, but so far it looks like i am going to go with Aquacomputer blocks.

This confuses me as well, it seems the pump with the H220x will be a bit different to the mcp50x.. if this is the case, how will people get replacement pumps for the H220x when they need them?
