Fast Mouse Pad?

Thread Starter
Right now i have Razer Goliathus Control, i had Speed but Speed for me was slower then Control, i think most of you know that. also have QCK but it's also slow like Speed, so i like Control, but i don't really like the texture, is there any other good or better alternatives? I heard good about Artisan Hien, also was looking into Zowie TF Speed vs Rough (what is faster?)?

Also some times with micro movement i feel that it's to fast, or maybe i just need to get use to it. But i like the Gollathus Control more then QCK and Speed.

BTW i'm using Zowie EC2 Evo CL

Also have Artisan Hayate, it's really good beter then QCK and Razer G Speed, but with micromanagement i need to use more force then i like to.

Of course, a hard mat would be fastest and slickest, but hard mats also only work optimally for laser mice (mostly). I use a Corsair MM400 and it's probably the slickest mouse mat I've ever tried. I completely agree on your points about cloth though, I really love my Goliathus Alpha Control much more than the Speed or my gf's QcK+, and the Control was my primary mat back when I had my DA 3.5G. I can't comment on the other mats you mentioned, no experience with those. This post should also serve as a bump since the other forum-goers know some of those mats real well.

I do love the Hayate but when for example i have to aim a runnin target it's harder because it has more stooping power then Razer G Control, but when i do a flick shoots it's good really good. Maybe i need to get use it. I'm also curious about the performance on Hien

The new Logitech G440 is VERY fast. Much faster than any of the pads I've owed. And I've owned the QcK, QcK+, 9HD, Qpad HeatoN, Razer Goliathus speed, Razer Scarab, Corepad C1, Puretrak Talent and Infensus OP. Of the soft pads the Infensus is the fastest.

On Artisan websites it shows that Artisan Hien has problems tracking with Zowie mice, is that still present ?

I've been using the Zowie G-TF Speed for about a week and it's very fast. Perhaps too fast for some people but I like it. My only complaints are it still won't lay flat near the corners despite laying heavy books on it every night, and after a while of playing the rough anti-fray stitching at the edge of the pad starts to hurt my wrist a bit. Other than that it's a nice and fast sort of cloth/plastic hybrid pad.

I was just looking at: Artisan ShidenKai XSOFT, interested in that one, right now i'm giving Razer Scarab that i have another try, i like the Artisan Hayate and more then QCK, but i hate that there is friction that you have to apply force to move, thats why i like Razer G Control and Scarab, but i don't really like surface, so was thinking maybe ShidenKai would be better. any opinions on that one?
