I understand the 1 TB FZEX has a 1 TB platter while the larger FZEX have 800GB platters. So it should be a little faster than the other FZEX and that looks about right for 7200 RPM @ 1TB.

Here http://www.overclock.net/t/1446170/how-good-is-this-drive our clubman complains for access time, so do I + his numbers are pretty higher than my result... Our systems a pretty similar...
