Depends, I can not play CS:GO at 60hz. I wont hit anything and the gameplay seems stuttering to me as I'm used to 120hz. Once you go 120+hz you won't be going back.
But I totally agree with francisw19, it's only a big diference in fps type games.

If it's blurry then the monitor's pixels aren't refreshing fast enough.

Personally I can't have the fps drop below 120, just takes the smoothness away and makes my gameplay so much worse. I play my games at 125 FPS locked and if they dip to say 80 thats the difference between hitting that long distance sniper headshot and missing. 120hz + FTW

I feel it in EVERYTHING especially Mmorpg's, The games feel more responsive, Things look smoother, The only thing 120z doesn't really benefit imo, Is chess.

Leauge Of Legends, DOTA 2 and Starcraft don't seem to benefit, I mean the gameplay gets smoother, but not smooth enough to acctually change anything

To be honest I don't seem to really notice anything above 45fps or so with my eyes...varies from game to game. However, I can always feel it through my mouse and in playing the game. I have my monitor OCed to let me play most games at 75fps...it seems to work fine most of the time. Though some games will limit themselves to 60fps when I have adaptive Vsync turned on at the driver level and off in the game...and others might not display right. Every game I have that "scrolls"...most of my strategy games...will scroll all choppy unless I go back to 60Hz on the monitor. I've never had an issue with anything else though.

As for seeing more than 60fps...I know there has been test done with pilots and they have reliably spotted a plane that briefly flashed at 90fps.

True there's a noticable difference in any game (besides chess or the new NFS wich is locked at 30 fps if I'm not mistaken, but the games that have the biggest benefits from higher hz imo in are fps.
