In my opinion it's about as close to perfect as you can get, unless you want to stick a tried and true optical sensor in there instead. I think this rodent would still be awesome as long as it doesn't have the "9800 lag".

No I care about wireless being garbage sadly.
Noticable inputlag on all wireless mice I tried.

It's fine for casual work and gaming, but so is all other wireless mice so nothing special so to say.

I find dealing with batteries a much bigger hassle than dealing with a mouse-cord. Besides unless they invented new battery technology, battery-performance decreases significantly in just a few years of use, a battery makes the mouse much heavier, and going wireless opens up the possibility of a whole new range of performance issues (on top of the ones the original sensei has).

No thanks. Go make a Kana V3 with better surface material and lower lift off distance please wink.gif. I will buy 3 of those.

Yeah right smile.gif

They don't even care about V2 since It's not listed on ss.com, drivers don't recognize the mouse unless you use specific driver versions and so on.
And ofc It's not even on sale everywhere.

I more think the Kana will be removed for future releases ;>

It's all about flashy mice that sell these days.

I'm still using my Logitech G9X. I just can't find a mouse that looks good to me. The G9X sensor isn't even that great, but everything else looks like a complete gimmick.

From a business perspective, not a surprising move. Just amazed on how much a company can milk from a decently designed shape of a mouse (forgetting the internals for the time being). The shape looks slightly different though from pictures and a different approach to design quality.

Not saying with the internals inside it'll stack up against better wired options, but will be interested to see how it stacks up against other wireless options in the same market.

its nice for casual gaming but people trying to be competetive will never use this. guys with 2000€ pcs that play singleplayer will use this maybe.
or people that just dont care and play mp but only occasionally

That is because Acceleration isnt measured in %, whoever has wrote that there are "5% Acceleration" should go back to school, the sent counts can be measured in %, and thats what has been done.

Alright, how would YOU measure the acceleration then? Seems pretty valid to me to say "my mouse ended up 5% farther than it should have on that swipe." i.e. the counts were 5% more than expected or the CPI was effectively 5% higher than normal.

That would be the outcome of acceleration at a certain speed, but what happens at a faster or slower speed?
