With that said, if the case and water components are ever sold separately, I'd be very interested as well.

Exactly...Have a few customers calling me already asking about these...

Would be nice, really nice, if they were available separately.

Super nice. Awesome, in fact.

Lol, I just want one to play with...

My distributor has access to the 500w so, I knew 500w existed but, never knew the 700w existed.

Again, throwing a Titan in that, even with 700w...I'm not too sure about but, if they tackle efficiency a little bit, maybe some higher end components...That changes the game.

Having a form factor case with a mini-atx capable of 700~750 means you could actually reliably run a Titan...In a form factor case...That's kind of a big deal...Thus I mentioned this like 4 times...Here's a 5th, imagine running a Titan or a 290x reliably in a form factor case...

Oh sadsmiley.gif
I'm probably going with seasonic's alternative (SS-500L1U, newegg have it). It is 500W, modular and Gold. But still interested in those 700w units of yours. I'll keep an eye!

Agreed, if I could fit my Ti and my sound card into a SFF case that was stylish and had water cooling for CPU, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

With that said, I wonder if there is a way to provide a riser card for a 1x PCI slot for sound cards? I'd hate to give up my Titanium HD. Onboard sound is crap.

Browse through the 1U server PSUs on Newegg then, it'll blow your mind...

Uh, you can run a Titan on a lot less than that - people are running it on the ST45SF-G (450w), and that's what was used in the Steam Machine prototypes, some of which were shipped with Titans. People far overestimate power needs, in general.

Hydrolux will keep working but the UI wont be there.

Oh, I know the 1U's existed but, those aren't really up to snuff...ATX ratings vary...Once you get into the soup to nuts of stuff, they don't quite fit the bill.

I disagree about running a Titan on 450w -- While possible, under load, it's been proven that the Titan draws well over 300w -- In fact, in Guru's and Tom's reviews of the card, Guru3d peaked at @ 475w...Constant load? No...But it maintains the ability to force-draw...Running a Titan on anything less than 500w and I'd call you crazy. It doesn't mean you can't do it, it's YOUR Titan but, you're essentially cutting it down to it's knees.
