Guide to Overclocking the Core I7 920 or 930 to 4.0ghz

Thanks B-Con! To be honest I know a bit about about computers.. but overclocking is out of my league..lol
Everytime when I input values in the bios, the computer turns off and on about 3 times then boots.. is that normal, I'm guessing its I've changed the values...

On a side note sold my Honda and bought a 5 series... will never go back!!!! lol

Alot of time the computer needs to complete shutdown to set knew values so if it completely powers down then boots back up your fine.

Not sure if you guys can see the error msg.. But I changed the CPU voltage to 1.30, everything above remained the same.. Any ideas.. Should I increase it to 1.35?

My train of thought was leave the rest on auto and find a stable clock with Vcore, and then do a longer say 12 hour Prime95 and if that passed im good, if not I would try
other voltages such as QUI or CPU PLL. Some times things have a sweetzone, but from my experience most everything revolves around the vcore

Hey guys, so I changed the vcore (CPU Voltage) from 1.25 to 1.30.. ran prime95, everything passed, but I'm getting this error:
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.

What do I need to adjust? Thanks!
