Come back and give us another cooking lesson biggrin.gif

Noctua's are good for that setup and i have the i7920 and runs quite and cool thumb.gif

Any good tower cooler will be a massive improvement over the stock cooler and should allow decent oc's just make sure it is compatible with LGA1366 socket thumb.gif

I have owned the HAF 932 in the past and it fits just about any cooler (plenty of height clearance).

i'm not an expert on all this but 1 thing fore sure Noctua's were top of class for that chip and you need too compare before buying any heat sink

And don't get washed away by one that's 1 -3 degrees cooler but sounds like a train wreck thumb.gif

This is why i done loads of research at the time and went Noctua for my i7920. and don't forget the i7930 is not a recent chip they get hotter thumb.gif
