I used 2000 grit and is nice and flat, shinier than before but you can still see super super small scratches. I did 400/600/800/1500/2000, doing about 10 strokes in one direction, rotating 90 degrees, then ten more. I did that process so that the whole block was sanded in each direction 10 times (10 up, 10 left, 10 down, 10 right) for each grit.

When I picked up the 2000g yesterday, it was the finest they had, and I think that this should be okay, it really is quite smooth, definitely reflects anything near it.
