To cool a 3570k With hyper 212 evo...Which fans??? - Page 4

Why are you obsessed with a better overclock? 4.8 GHz = 4.5GHz + 6.6% = 4.2Ghz + 14%.

Is this really worth it? You should be able to achieve 4.4, 4.5 GHz with a decent cooler. 4.2 GHz at least with a budget cooler. 4.8, unlikely without a good CPU and a dual 140mm closed loop radiator, or a H100i (which will be noisy, and expensive).

If you want less noise, get a dual tower CPU cooler, or a NH-U14S, True Spirit 140, HR-02 Macho, CM 612S. Stick to a decent overclock, with safe voltage. With a delid, you may achieve higher clocks with a poor CPU, at the cost of more risks and less resale value.

Can take a look at the SilverArrow SB-E Extreme with the two 2500 rpm orange fans. If you can control the fan speed in the range 800-1300 rpm (like the normal SB-E) for quiet mode, then you can use the extreme mode (2500 rpm) for extra oumph. Plus, the SB-E Extreme is one of the cheapest dual-tower cooler. Ideally, dual tower coolers need two CPU 4 pin connectors. And if you want 4.8GHz or whatever, you also need a decent motherboard in the first place.

I saw asrock and 4 from the phone, excuse me

Sell that and buy an extreme4 and you could reach 5ghz(deppends how much voltage need the i5 ) after delidding it can be up to 30°c cooler.
Here is the delidded club from ocn

You need to buy coollaboratory liquid ultra for replacing the TIM under the ihs
