well played AMD. G-Sync was pretty much the only reason I was considering Nvidia, but if AMD has variable refresh rates then it's a no-brainer.
Of course, now let's see it in a 4K 60Hz/1440p 120Hz IPS display. It needs to come to the market nice and quick.
Also, the Oculus Rift needs this, especially if it's "free" (which I take to mean a slight increase in price, borne by the manufacturer/passed on to the consumer).
