I'm fairly sure that the red switches will be available in august, and browns/blues will be available september.

It's 200$ for a fancy lighting scheme. I have a red K70 and it pales in comparison to my ducky, let alone my HHKB or realforce keyboard that are all in similar price ranges.

what's the difference between a high end mech keyboard and a low end one? I'm still on membrane and frankly I have a hard time understanding why woul you pay more then 120$ Is it just the led colors or?

I was actually going to get a ducky first, but they were sold out everywhere and the K70 cherry red was on offer at £95, vs £129 for a ducky, and I also preferred the look of the black K70.

I really like mine, and the red backlights are perfect for my with my PC and upcoming monitor.

I'm also using all the default black keys, and thought I would save the textured red ones until I wear the black ones out, which takes me less than a year on normal membrane keyboards.

The keys on the K70 do feel a lot harder and more robust, but I still don't think theyre a match for my WASD abuse frown.gif

The build quality is a huge difference. Cheap boards like ones from iOne have more flex in the body, and some companies aren't even using Cherry switches like Razer's ****ty Khail switches which have uneven actuation pressure.

Jason is the keyboard PM, so that's a question for him. I'll ask him when he gets back from vacation. He went to Cabo, lucky bastard. I went camping.

Camping is stupid. Only in rich countries is it considered "fun" to pretend to live like people did 10,000 years ago. We invented WiFi for a reason. Ugh.

So let say you have red switches from cherry mx and you don't sword fight with your keyboard any of them are equal right? (beside features like pretty light and macros?)
