Probably because all of those packages only needed indirect signature.

Which coming back to other's original point, online outlets should include an optional resident signature upon delivery. In fact wasn't NewEgg over a year or so ago, issuing a survey asking if customers would prefer not having to sign for packages? I guess the vast majority wanted that... Me, I don't mind waiting the extra day on a chance miss - so long as it gets to me.

And as far as the loading @ shipment centers. They are NOT gentle with your packages... Swing by a UPS outlet when you go to pick up your missed package of the day @ 11 pm, and see flying parcels galore thumb.gif

I worked inside a UPS warehouse for ~2 years biggrin.gif Did everything from loading, sorting, and managing the dpt for intl letters/packages

Fragile stickers on box = throw box 10 feet onto conveyor belt thumb.gif

The drivers though, they really have every reason to spend the extra minute on their job, it's just most want to rush to get back by warehouse at 5~6pm so they don't risk getting called out to re-deliver or pick up packages from their route.

are you serious damn, well then what about amd and nvidia, how about shipping of the materials made for graphics cards and the graphics card themselves
who ships the gpus from amd and nvidia to a vendor?
is this why vendors sometimes get a bad batch of cards?

My 290x from BLT was pushed back to March 10th. Contemplating whether to get it, or hold off now. I got one already from Tiger Direct and it's breezing through everything I throw at it; even Far Cry 3 at Ultra in 5760 x 1200. Makes me think there's no point in a second right now!

if you have one hold off due to the difficulty to grab a second
also because if you grab them how else will i get one.
