R9 290/290x Price Drop Predictions - Page 47

Well I've been in the queue since Feb 6th. I'm loathe to drop out after so long!

Damn, March and April pushback dates - I wonder why mine got pushed back to June behind everyone else frown.gif I've been in queue since early Feb on the TRI-X 290...

Well... I ended up putting my money into a new guitar lololol. So the June waitout isn't so bad, I may even cancel it by the time that date rolls around and just wait till the holidays for a new card when more promotions and likely more stock/better cards - are released wheee.gif

sapphire cards are some of the best miners managing to score higher hash rates on the same gpu over other brands.

i... i couldnt wait any longer

really contemplating saying screw it and grabbing a cheap 670 or 80 till what is it pirate islands?

Yeah i posted a few days or weeks ago about shopblt biggrin.gif It will most likely get pushed back now that the general masses have discovered and placing orders like crazy

if you have the time, it's great, its the manufacturers that keep pushing back dates, since it's only ESTIMATED...

Problem is if you are actually mining and have smaller rigs and not a huge farm, then it's more convenient to pay the $50-75 premium on another site because you will earn the extra back in a week or a few days of good mining/selling.

R9 270X is so gouged these days. It was $210 or so, then $220 , then $250...some are $300 now which is insane.

Anything more than $240 is ludicrous for a $180 MSRP R9 270.

At the current hashrates it'd make a little less than half a R9 290 or R9 290X, which means the Powercolor R9 290X is a better deal

Your ROI date is already far in the future, with R9 270 / R9 270X. If you have four or six of them, it's not like you can quadfire them.

That 290 price is cheaper than 6 of their 280x's.... I would jump on these prices if not for having to pay tax. Will wait too see if they drop a good 290x a bit further.
