This week I sold my year old 7950 pcs+ 400$ CDN. I've got to says i'm quite happy and i'm waiting to jump on a R9 290. I paid my 7950 300$ last years, so i'll be doing a ridiculously good upgrade for roughly 150$ tongue.gif

Nice I sold my used 6950 for about $130 on the Bay the other day, got a 7870 for $175 so I got a rather nice upgrade for about $45

Anticipate a price drop soon in the next week or two

The difficulty combined with summer coming should basically dissuade people.

$409.99 HIS R9 290 , now $600 ...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161439

$460 Sapphire R9 290 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8573332

$500 ASUS R9 290 DirectCU non reference http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00HWQUI02/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new

$470 MSI r9 290 Gaming http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127774
$470 MSI R9 290 Gaming http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8857306

$600 reference Powercolor R9 290x http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=92940&vpn=AXR9%20290X%204GBD5-MDHG%2FOC&manufacture=PowerColor
$600 nonref Gigabyte R9 290X http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=93519&vpn=GV-R929XOC-4GD&manufacture=Gigabyte&promoid=1230
$600 R9 290X ASUS DCU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121840

These can't be posted in deals because I don't consider a GPU selling for more than $500 a deal, let alone for more than MSRP

Then again I'm conflicted since the r9 290 performs on GTX 780 levels and the GTX 780 sells for close to $500 , but you can get a GTX 780 Classified for $510 right now
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130943

and MSI GTX 780 Lightning ~$550 albeit OOS

I'm sure some of you will be pleased to see a newsletter (3.14) with a certain card at a good price. My guitar is coming in so I'm not going for a new card to replace my returned reference card. 490$ for a well known card I'd say is a good deal, maybe some of you have checked your inbox to see the pricing... thumb.gif
