Seems like a good deal. Anything out there as good or better for around the same price?

Playing FPS titles like CS:GO and COD

Why not G400? Do you want prediction?

G400 is $60 and plastic. Is it better?

MX518 is plastic as well. Sure I prefer the glossy top on MX518 over G400 top (not too bad though). But I highly prefer the G400 without prediction and 1000Hz polling rate from start.

I have an MX518 that I bought about 5 years ago, i still go back to it when my more modern RAT9 gives me trouble, it's a brilliant mouse IMO... not as many buttons as the newer ones, but still excellent for FPS.

G400 rev. 2 and G400s are better than MX518, better sensor.

The best option would be G400 rev1-2 regarding if you want prediction or not.
G400 sold for 20-30$
Mx518 is fine if you wanna go through the hassle to overclock the USB.

The g400s is way to expensive and worse of a mouse.
