Thanks everyone. I think I'll grab a G400s instead.

I've never had issues with the mx518 except for getting the sensitivity just right in FPS. Other than that, I'd say it's pretty exceptional in everything else.

I've owned several "gaming" mice in my time. 2 of which were mx518 (I chucked one after a source match..), and I have to say, its still, to this day, the best mouse I've used. Runs just as good and smooth as the first day I bought it. Only problem I have right now with it is the cord is starting to fray near the USB. Now this mouse is 5 years old, and is used for my desktop, and laptop. I cannot say enough about this mouse. BUY IT!!!

has any one tried these ? they also have a listing on US ebay for 33usd.
I asked the seller if they are the 1600 or 1800 dpi model waiting on response.

"i got mx518, so its best mouse ever" ...

with old devices sometimes there is a problem with drivers, software, overclocking.

Got WMO currently, i really like it, but some old things with this mouse just annoying me so I will not recommend it to anybody.
MX518 also is discounted. Do you know if it works with Windows 8 etc?

Better to buy some modern mouse instead of dealing with future issues.

especially when sometimes you can buy G400 rev.2 almost same price as this mx518 mentioned above.

WMO is discounted ofc, and yes, there is a lot of fake mice on ebay etc. With mx518 could be the same.

G400s is garbage imo.
Expensive as hell, more smoothing then G400, the surface is garbage but thats to each once opinion atleast.

Logitech ruined g400 with launching the worse s version for 4x the cost.

Good that I have g400 rev1 and 2 sitting in their boxes here. They cost 15$ new unlike the g400s garbage prices biggrin.gif

G400 rev.2 is quite cheap and good.
