[Razer] Concept Project Christine - Page 3

I like the look of this alot...however knowing the iffy quality of razer products and how they gouge price for their "gamer" products...I see this being a VERY niche product....unless razer allows thrid party vendors in on it...then i can see it being more viable....

As a Concorde-esque demonstration of design and technical creativity it's magnificent, but as a real life product it's a bunch of nonsense. I'll be amazed if this thing doesn't end up in the same place as the Razer Switchblade did, a dead concept used to inspire future products.

I'm impressed they actually built a mockup, though it's likely far from functional. The fact that it's 100% proprietary though makes it a long shot to ever see production.

The issue as I see it is that the potential customers- the gamers who have cash but don't want to mess with hardware- would be better served changing all major components when needed and at that stage it would be potentially cheaper and better to go with OEMs like Alienware/Origin PC etc.

Honestly, I haven't had an issue with their quality, I would put them towards the top of the list for the readily available mass market products.

My Razer La Cucaracha (Carcharias) served me well until my upgrade, and now serve my wife well. Their Edge Pro tablet has great build quality and performance.....

The only Razer product out of all the ones I have purchased that failed was the mouse, and it was the left mouse click. The actual button broke internally, so I gave it to my brother who "fixed" it and got another 4 months out of it. I simply purchased another Naga, as I was so pleased with the first. Only failure I have had with their products, and honestly, I abused the hell out of that Left Click.

Very much want, but you just know it'll be in the £2500+ range. Still, it's about time the PC got its own 'Mac Pro'. I love the centralised design with mineral oil and PCI-Express connecting everything together, though. Razer should absolutely make it, no one else is doing anything this crazy.
