[Razer] Concept Project Christine - Page 7

I like my Naga. I like my Anansi. They work great, but, there is no way I would buy a computer from Razor unless it was a laptop or tablet at an extremely fair price. They would be ignorant to even think this would amount to any sales.

That would make a lot more sense than the renders I saw on the Razer site showing separate modules.

As usual when I state my opinion on something new like this, I'm basically just restating and agreeing with what others have previously said. It seems like a great idea, but the more you think about it, the less it makes sense, I think you could say. It's cool and all, but the amount of people who would benefit from an option like this is minimal, especially considering what we can only imagine something like this would cost. It also defeats a lot of the purpose of building a PC itself... the building part. All in all, I don't really like it. And in it's current concept form, I think it looks straight up stupid. Just my 2cents.gif.

Lets put a reservoir full of mineral oil directly with the PSU.
Any watercooling enthusiast knows a radiator is going to need fans.
This thing cant be completely fan less with just a pump.
The thing will never lose heat.

http://www.pugetsystems.com/submerged.php Puget has been using mineral oil in those for a while.

Now about this thing, The idea is cool but would take a group of companies getting together to launch something like this (sans razer)

It's pretty nice but it's going to be way too cost inefficient.

at best it's a decent alternative to watercooling for a lazy but well off person.
A person that wants watercooling but is too lazy to learn buys a CLC like an H100 or a Swifttech H220.

I can to a degree agree to the essence of your message, but I hold sincere doubts that they can pull through on this. If not PCIe then what would they use? Those graphics cards still need their bandwidth, and Razer is almost certainly not making their own graphics cards for this.

X79 Intel enthusiast line will supply all the PCI Express lanes you need. Latency is not that big of an issue.

But what if they're a really rich lazy person?
