Thanks for posting this. It clarifies a bit on how Razer wants to handle things on the customer service side of things which is important.

I hope they realize they should go beyond just viewing just software as what makes a platform open and allow other ODMs to license their modular designs.

"Are there any fans in this?"
"Absolutely not."

It seems like they're targeting a passive heat dissipation to boot by this description, and that sounds even more farfetched to me to be fair than my other concerns earlier. rolleyes.gif

Even though the CEO has expressed in the past he doesn't care as much about making Razer a profit driven company I would think he would want to avoid his staff having to go through the hassle of dealing with warranty claims from overheated parts.

Hopefully they do some proper long run and stability tests if they commit to the turning this project into a product. Either their implementation will work or it doesn't and they'll have to redo how the cooling apparatus works.

It needs to be mentioned that I support the general idea they have. Just that this implementation seems really dead from the start. frown.gif

be good if they could blow air from the base and up into each compartment - silly idea biggrin.gif

what about plugging them in to a base and have them all stand vertical? Like a city sky line??

Im sold on this if the subscription fee is reasonable (which is where razer usually has its problems) so if it has a reasonable subscription fee im totally sold.
