[BF4Central] BF4 producer trolls fans, hasn’t played the game since November - Page 3

I will say the "netcode" is a little screwy at times, that should be tightened up.
The hitboxes are the only problem I see, but I still drop people no problem anyways.

What if i'm not a big fan of salad? J/k. Honestly, I think there is still a ton of potential bf4 consumers, but they're still on the fence. If DICE was told to 'drop everything and BF$ is a priority', then why havent they released any recent patches? Pure marketing malarkey. I hope the shareholders win the lawsuit against EA. Anyone else wondering how Titalfall will launch in march?

Nothing. BF4 is FAR from broken, it just needs a little tweaking.

The only thing that was broken was SLi/ Crossfire support and that got fixed within 4 days.

Same. I've crashed once since it came out (and that's with overclocking and everything on ultra) and that was due to the graphics driver not installing correctly.

Sure, like I can only think of one off the top of my head though. It is not game breaking either... I have been playing regularly with no problem at all since day one. These raging inferno problems are unheard of.

That's a good point you just made there. People usually say what their peers are saying. IMO the BF4 flak is blown way out of proportion.

What about Rome 2, Company of Heroes 2, Batman Arkham City, Aliens: Colonial Marines.... Now those are some horrible rocky broken launches (coincidently, 3 out of 4 of those are SEGA games)

What are these raging inferno problems you speak of?

If you're a newbie, sure you won't have many issues. But people that have a clue do know what's up.
Basically one of the mayor issues is that the server refreshes at 10hz, causing some awful hitreg.

Certainly this producer is acting silly, but I don't care about a producer. The developers have given me a great playable game.

The problem with the "Herd" statement is this....

EA/DICE have acknowledged the issue and put out a massive "Bug Tracker" list...

DICE halted all work on all DICE projects to focus ALL their people on fixing BF4. If the issues weren't as bad as being reported, by EA/DICE of all sources, then they wouldn't have done this. As you are talking about losses in the millions and millions; considering the delay in other projects and extra work load required by high pay individuals.

that video takes occasional glitches and intended game mechanics and blows them out of proportion. the things he describes and demonstrates are things that happen once in a blue moon

Don't take a man's vacation!
Most Dev's during the production before release work insane hours, totally put off family time, and miss out on lots of other things. They need that holiday time, otherwise they just work into the ground, get burned out, and then make far more mistakes in their work than before.

A refreshed and happy dev can complete x10 the work in a shorter span of time than a burnt out dev could do in a much greater amount of time.

Vacations are very necessary!

He says it very well in the video: Just because YOU don't notice it, doesn't mean it's not constantly happening. It just means you aren't good enough to see what is going on.
It happens constantly, just pay attention to the details.

I notice constantly that things are out of order. It will offend you but I don't care, if you don't notice the awful netcode you are plain bad at the game.
Please post a link to your battlelog if you think netcode is fine smile.gif
