It depends on who you ask and what level of playability you're willing to tolerate. Its like that saying with opinions...biggrin.gif

even the people complaining in this thread have dozens and dozens of hours playing it. Its a great game, just don't expect 100% perfect gunplay from a game with 64 people driving tanks and shooting guns with complex bullet physics. the problems are greatly exaggerated.

For me, if you remove the net code issue, the game is stable enough and its very fun. smile.gif If you're a very competitive person, then you will not like BF4 at its current state. Give it a few months. The game will get better. Thats my fair assessment.

Greatly exaggerated is an understatement.

Perfect gunplay is the core of any first person shooter. If they can't get that right, then the complaints are defenitly NOT exaggerated.
Just because I play BF games a lot, does not mean that the issues with them don't annoy the hell out of me..
BC2 had this same awful netcode at a time, they managed to fix it to something acceptable but it never was perfect.
Then came BF3, had pretty bad netcode but it was still a ton better than BF4, i'd be happy with the BF3 or BC2 netcode now.

I still stand by it, you people that say things are being exaggerated are just plain awful at the game.

Deluxe: Did the netcode in BF3 get better later in the age of the game? I stopped playing after the close quarters DLC.

Not really, it was still pretty bad, but at least it was something I could accept without it constantly annoying me..
What I cannot accept is that BF4 has WORSE netcode than BF3.

Hopefully it'll get better, only because its the number 1 issue players are complaining about. Go to the battlelog forums and you'll see, 'fix the netcode' about a million times. DICE cannot ignore this. I'm just glad i didn't drop cash on premium yet....still waiting on that ads fix as I dont hip fire.

From my personal experience of playing games in BF series
BFV terrible hitboxes/netcode BF2 terrible hitboxes/netcode BC2 terrible hitboxes/netcode BF3 and BF4 surprise crappy hitboxes/netcode .

If I had to say which one was the worse it for me was BF2 , I raged at that game more than any other BF game. BF5 will have the same issue. If anyone has issues with crap netcode/hitboxes dont ever buy a BF game. Now if someone is willing to look past that issue BF games can be really fun.
