Well, DFI is slowly going downhill from what I've heard, but I would still say (at least on paper) the RD600 looks to be better. The nVidia 680, however, is PROVEN, which is the difference in many's eyes. My vote would be ATI, as I have used their cards and have liked them. However, the 680 is still a very capable motherboard, so to each his own.

Kramy: Thank you very much. To answer your question I will be[ purchasing Dell's 24" 2407WFP Monitor sometime between March '07 - December '07, as of now I have a 19" ViewSonic 1280x1024 Monitor. So, I will not need to worry about 2560x1600 gaming... Yet.

pow3rtr1p: I have an X800XL and I am amazed at it's speed. It's no longer for sale at retailers, yet, I can people some games maxed out. I run Counter-Strike: Source and Half Life: 2 maxed out and recieve 80FPS average on the Video Stress Test. This said, I have never personally owned an nVidia GPU; my X2 Rig was my frist rig. I've seen people reach 3.6GHz+ on an 680i Motherboard and get amazing scores in 3DMark's with SLi'd 8800GTX's and an X6800 or QX6700. I guess I'll have to wait until all of the components are out and there are actual tests and accurate numbers for the R/RD600.

Oh, and for CrossFire/SLi I only have a 700W Power Supply, so I might not go with Multi-GPUs because a Quad-Core + Dual R600s = Lot of Power.
