Is Battlefeild 4 worth it? - Page 8

Hmm, I think it's worth it if you can get it on a sale or with a gpu bundle. I haven't really got into bf4 yet i'm only level 13 or something like that, I did play bad company 2 and alot of bf3, I got pretty good at it as well, although that's on console, ordered a pc that can actually run high end game like battlefield recently. If you have some friends to play battlefield with, you will have a great time regardless of the bugs.

Personally i've been playing borderlands 2, got it on the steam sale and I'm really enjoying it so far about 30-ish hours in.

If you have some friend to play with battlefield 4 is definitely worth it and should look beautiful on your new pc biggrin.gif.

I honestly think its worth it. Have tons of hours put into it, but at the moment I've been away. So, I haven't been playing much, but its first few weeks it was horrible, but its starting to become optimized.

Overall, I love the game. Wasn't worth it at launch but get it now smile.gif

Back on topic, some of the best games i ever played are in the FPS and RPG genre.

Just sayin' but... your brother doesn't "have" autism, he IS autistic. It's not something you catch.

Autism is Autism, there are no differences, there are however different forms, and strengths too, i suggest those who choose to throw this around so much do some research.

If you wish to speak about this further, we can take this to PM's, where i shall educate you.

Some at first where graphics glitches pretty much gone now. People Not getting the Fps the should poorly optimized game. Since the New Nvidia driver release this week that pretty much solved the optimization problem smile.gif I went from 60-80 Fps on high setting preset @ 5670x1080 Nvidia surround to 80-100 thumb.gif There was and still is some connection problems trying to get into games. That I have not had many problems at all with. I can pretty much get into any game np. The game was not that great at launch but most of the problems have been fixed.

There was quite a lot of crashing for a while after launch. There are still people who report that they're still crashing but quite a lot of people have stated that it's no longer a problem for them. I personally didn't experience them after the first week.

Another common complaint is about the netcode and the various aspects of it. Poor hit detection and stuff like that. Again, not something I've had a lot of issues with.

Then there's normal stuff about balance and whatnot although that's stuff that gets ironed out as time goes on.

I'd say if the first two things weren't such an issue, the game would be very solid and get a definite recommendation. The map design is some of my favorite in a long time and is far above BF3's vanilla map design. The gun play is quite solid, IMO. Not much needs to be said when it comes to graphics and sound design.. It's a pretty game and sounds amazing. Overall I've had a pretty great experience with the game. Again, if the netcode and crashing are something you're worried out you can wait it out to see if things improve and, of course, the game is only going to get cheaper as time goes on.

I bought BF4 for $20 on sale awhile back, although I much prefer CS:GO. Just got into the series recently because I'm somewhat new to PC gaming, and I'm having a blast. Both games are great when playing with friends, but if you play solo a lot like I do, you'll probably have more fun playing CS:GO. It is much easier to win games solo in CS than BF4.

I've been playing since January 5 and I've put in 25 hours so far (campaign and multiplayer combined). I absolutely love it. I've only had one crash so far, so other than that it has been quite stable. Plus, I've been getting higher fps in Battlefield 4 than in Battlefield 3. It's all the small things that make Battlefield 4 better than Battlefield 3 for me.
