R9 270 crash on memory overclock

Thread Starter
I recently bought a Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 and obviously wanted to do some overclocking. Using MSI Afterburner I achieved an overclock of 1050Mhz (+20% Power Limit), up from the stock 945Mhz, and used the latest version of Furmark to test it. As soon as I touch the memory however, it becomes unstable. Even the slightest movement , say 1400Mhz stock to 1450Mhz OC, I will get graphical errors until a reboot. I don't know if it is the card itself, or I need to adjust some settings via BIOS or MSI AB. I have also read that many reviewers achieved 1600Mhz OC with ease.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

EDIT: Pictures of MSI Afterburner. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

EDIT: Pictures of GPU-Z (no vram temps) Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Maybe I will have it by Friday
You need to tell us vram temps, and AMD catalyst...

What can I use to see the vram temps, and what do you want to see from the CCC?

Lemme know and I'll get the info for you.

EDIT: Are you gonna be running multiple monitors with your 270X?

In a build I did with the R9 270 Dual-X, the memory didn't really OC that well, I think I got no more than +50 on it.
