Hello,
I am thinking about overclocking a Nvidia gt 630 with the overclocking software Msi Afterburner for better performance in games.

This is my desktop right here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-ideacentre-desktop-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive/8998157.p?id=1218968344463&skuId=8998157

Could someone explain what the Core Clock and Memory Clock in afterburner really do?

What could happen if you put the Core Clock too high, or the Memory Clock too high?

Is there anything besides heat that I should worry about?

Can putting your fan speed too high damage my computer?
