GTX 780 Voltage mod problems.

I did the soft mod and the LLC disable on the GTX 780 owner club thread. In MSI Afterburner I set the voltage to 1.212 mV, but when I go to GPU-Z and run tests, the VDDC only displays 1.15 mV. How do I fix it?

Assuming you did it correctly, in the msi afterburner readings, if you set it to 1.212V it should read 1.212V at a constant. GPU-z will not be able to read the correct voltage especially since it was a mod.

Oh okay

Also, another way to see and prove to you that the voltage reading in GPU-z can be wrong is, see what the original max overclock you could achieve with stock voltage, and then apply the extra voltage and see if you can overclock further. If you can, then do not worry about what the readings tell you, cause it will be running at that.

My previous MSI GTX 770 Gaming card, I got up to 1.238V using a voltage tweak, and when playing games it said 1.200V. I knew this was wrong because stable core clock OC was 1280Mhz, and I was able to run at 1333MHz.

Hope this helps
