core2duo e6300 in DG965WH motherboard

no more money to spare!!!

how much can i (safely) oc my e6300 w/o any water cooling rig
i do have a bunch of psu fans (5x) that i can install to my case to keep it cool

i plan to buy video card later when i can afford it cause i want to use it for gaming

on the stock Intel cooler you will prolly only be safe around the 2.8Ghz range.. your comfort level may be higher than mine. But I freak at 50C.. use Intel's TAT to know for sure what your core temps are, dont trust anything else to tell you the truth.

Yes, my advice: get a GIGABYTE DS3 or P5B DLX right after you sell that Intel board.
I don't think that the DG will be able to overclock, if it does, it'll be like in the 10% range when using the Intel software because I'm not even sure if you could tweak the BIOS.

By this I mean, the motherboard not having the necessary settings in the BIOS to OC the CPU.

well is there other means for me to oc w/the stuff that i have, ie-3rd party software (and/or slight modification on the board-hopefully not)
i really want to take full advantage of the stuff that i have, so need a little more help on the safest and best i can get out of my stuff - and thank you
