As for "skeem", it's a movie reference; and I'm not condescending enough to write a 300 word post on why you missed the ball.

I knew what you were referring to...I decided to mock you because of what you said there...Mr. Eastwood. Was being incredibly sarcastic - Don't get emotional over forums, just not my thing. thumb.gif

That being said, it's an adaptive AI with differential settings...AI will make this game VERY interesting. biggrin.gif

figures. I didnt think there was that much space for 16+ players to call down their own titans.

As long as the maps are designed well, I'm perfectly fine with 6v6.

Hackers will ruin the game for PC. This looks like its gonna be another "only fun on Xbox " game. I hope I'm wrong.

What makes you say that? Because it's an FPS on PC?

I've actually never had a hacker ruin a game for me... Even when BF3 was at its worst, I still consistently found clean and fun servers. I feel like most people buy games to play legitimately.

That and how easy it is to run hacks and go undetected. Friend if mine has been playing Battlefield 4 with wall hacks and has been going undetected since November. There are more hacked players on Ghosts than legit players. Both if those games have an endless list if bugs and it's just not as fun as in consoles.

Gamers don't actually know what they want.. I mean practically every pub counter-strike match is a good example of that. 32 player de_dust 2 matches. With literally 3 paths to choose from. So you're cramming like 10-12 players down one hallway and it really makes for a horrible experience, and it also makes death a lot more unenjoyable because the matches tend to last a lot longer. 12 player count to me, is good news.

so you are saying "customers dont know what they want so lets fix something up and roll in money"

i mean was i angry cause far cry 3 wasnt as advertised? no, because the game had perfect gameplay. but in case of BF4 thats not something i can forgive, and the same mindset is with a lot of people. so if they advertise the game with megafights and then they put 6vs6 as max count, then I am so so happy of not preordering that source game that will not be able to be modded

titanfall is supposed to be about jumping around like a gummybear on large maps with a lot of mechs, if they release only small maps its a rippoff

best

I think 6v6 is totally fine if the gameplay and maps are designed with that in mind.

I play an MMOTPS called S4 League. The game is 6v6 for most modes/maps, and even though the maps are relatively small in terms of ground space, you can run, walljump, and dash over every bit of the map. There's even movement skills to aid you, one where you can literally sprout wings and fly wherever you want, and another that basically grapples you to where you want to go.

Keeping that in mind, Titanfall seems very similar. The pilots can boost, dash, and wallrun all over the place. If the maps are short on ground space, but cleverly designed to give you tons of places to go with that movement system, I can see it working perfectly. Think about it, a CoD-esque system where people are spawning and dying every half second wouldn't work here. Nobody would every get to take advantage of the movement system without painting a target on their back, and having that many targets when you're in a Titan would basically turn them into the OP killstreaks from CoD, only everyone's going to get one eventually so prepare for spawn trapping.

I can see very clearly why they want to limit the number of players, and I think it could work in their favor if the game is designed right, which we'll just have to trust it is.
