You can check out brasero, k3b, or xfburn if you need an alternative to imgburn. Is peerblock just a firewall?

cdrecord has been ported to Windows, but that's CLI only (though there are frontend's on Windows such as InfraRecorder)

I can't plug USB sticks into the networked computers at work, network policy prevents me from accessing online storage to include the chris cloud I use CD's and DVD's every day

I use Brasero..I don't know what peer block is but it can probably be accomplished in iptables

The Linux equivalent to PeerBlock is PeerGuardian. I use it one my wife's Arch machine, and it works well.

Thanks guys. PeerGaurdian looks pretty decent. Also I Shrak was right, for fun i looked for a linux alternative to "Nero" and it brought up and MP4 codec and an Image file converter. rolleyes.gif
