X1950Pro Slap on the back Or??????

Thread Starter
Upgrading from Current card X1600 Pro AGP DDR2 to The ASUS(NONcrossfire) X1950Pro, 36pipes, DDR3, PCI-E. I got it from www.ZipZoomFly.com for $179.99 USD (Newegg had it for $220.00) It is still in the mail so I do not have it yet. Side Note: Motherboard has AGP & PCI-E

The Big Question!!!

I play NFS:MW,HL2,F.E.A.R.,SW:BattleFront2,ETC....at 1440X900 Res. Wide
I get about 25FPS in Most wanted, But in the rest I get about 30 to 60 FPS. Now those are at mediem Settings with AA turned on the lowest(But on).

I want High settings at that Res.(1440X900)

Any thoughts.........
Thanks for any input.

AAAARgh $179!!! I Paid $299 a piece for my two...Dang.

Well If you don't want to OC your GFX this is the card for you LOL.

Smacking down 5K with one card and 8K with two in 3D Mark06--you should be in good shape.
