The more I look at this the more I think the FT04 will be a better buy for me.

ft04 has quality issues and very cramped interiors.

ft05 seems better if you removed the front drive bays, but you will be stuck with only 2 disks behind.
im not sure once you put in that psu, will it block off the lower half of your motherboard.
this should have been a matx case imo.

Umm, what? Psu is in the same place as in any other standard atx tower, just rotated, no way it will block motherboard.

I expected the price, 60-70€ cheaper than ft02, you probably cant cut price by much more than 1/3 when you basically just cut the older case by 1/3. But just imagine how small that case would be if it wasnt rotated and without that cable hiding top section - while still being the best air cooling atx capable case.

Ml07 looks interesting too (watercooling could make this really quiet htpc if you mod that sfx psu) - IF its brushed aluminium finish (the guy didnt specifically mention it).

*sigh* Still waiting on that FT02 mini for mATX/mITX.

This sadly proves the previous assumptions, that these cases are mirrored back to conventional, so no right side windows like the FT04... frown.gif

Also, the 'open' top isn't really a good idea. The top vents should mirror the bottom intake. As much as I love the FT02, one of it's biggest flaws ins the open top, letting dust settle straight down into it when the thing is off. Other debris too. I've had things like staples end up in mine - things that could cause a catastrophe if they happened to land in the right place, and has anyone ever considered how vulnerable these cases would be to spills. If you have a standard case beside your desk and you knocked your coffee over it, at worst the case would probably be ruined, but with the FT the whole system would take it.

Christ alive, if you're going to throw around a mixture of coffee and staples may I humbly suggest you do it in a room which doesn't have a PC in?

This case makes me want to stay with ATX. Maybe m-ATX board will do. I like its ATX compact design. Sleek looking and it's aluminum.

Refer to post 134 genius.

Do you have your PC quarantined in a sterile cell? Heaven forbid that there might be staples in an office environment.
